Renewables

The Co-operative Bank have a track record in funding a wide range of renewable energy projects, with onshore wind being a particular specialism. When it comes to providing renewable energy and sustainable technology finance, we hold a unique market postition.

We provide funding for the following technologies; onshore wind, combined heat and power, district heating, biomass, waste to energy (anaerobic digestion), landfill gas, geothermal/solar, hydro and smart metering – building control systems.

On this blog we’ll be reporting on renewable energy and sustainable technology projects funded by The Co-operative Bank, and also what technologies we’re using to reduce our own carbon footprint.
