Britannia members back merger

On Wednesday, 29 April members of Britannia Building Society have voted overwhelmingly in favour of merging with us to create the first super-mutual – an ethical alternative to shareholder- and Government-owned banks.

I think its great
How about you launch a campaign to turn UK Financial Investments Ltd (the holding company set-up by the Gov’t to hold their shares in the banks we’ve bailed out) into a co-op (e.g. an IPS Community Benefit Society).
Now that would be really good news!
